This is a translation project report of Eurocentrism, Modern Knowledges, and the "Natural" Order of Global Capital;, which was published on the new magazine Nepantla:Views from the South in2002. In this article, the author Edgardo Lander, who is Venezuelan contemporary sociological scholars, professor, main ideologist and left-wing writer, mainly describes a number of basic assumptions, and demonstrates the presence of the fundamentals of Eurocentrism in the international norms of protection of private investment in the failed Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI) and in the protection of intellectual property set out by World Trade Organization (WTO) agreements.The most difficult problem the writer faced during the process of this translation and the report writing is the inadequate preparation of the relevant knowledge. Besides, that the writer was unable to grasp the different writing method between English and Chinese, is also an issue to deal with. However, by asking for help from professor, classmate etc, the writer eventually solved all the problems respectively.The main contents of this report are divided into four main parts. In the first part, it mainly introduces the background, the important status, and the forms of this translation report, which also points out how the author accomplishes it under the help of supervisors. Part two of the report mainly refers to the author of the English translation materials, Edgardo Lander, the background of his writing this article and the content of it as well as the detailed analysis of it. In the third part of this report, it states the problems in detail the author faced and the solution during the process of this translation. Finally, the last part writes down the inspiration, experience and the problem to be solved.
