Classical Chinese is an indispensable and important part of China’straditional culture. Learning classical can inherit and propagate finetradition culture but also can increase the using of contemporary Chineseand the cultural heritage, improve self-cultivation. School teaching is animportant avenue to study classical Chinese. And junior middle school isa pivotal stage in which students study classical Chinese. So that thetextbook of classical Chinese is particularly important supporter. With theMinistry of Education support various of teaching material, differentchoices for classical Chinese teaching and studying have been on thestage.This paper takes junior classical Chinese teaching material in grades7-9published by Jiangsu Education Publishing House and People’sEducation Publication House as the example. Compared thechoreography style, the content elements and the compilation of thesetwo types teaching material.Through the comparison of these aspects, this paper presents thatSujiao edition language teaching classical material has some problems inarrangement compare with the classical material of PEP, and also leadsthe discussion. On the orchestration style, the editors should consistentwith the law of the students’ cognitive and focus on the establishment ofthe Navigation System; on the content elements, texts should be selectedby quality and beauty, while exercises should be designed to focus onstrengthening students’ Learning Ways, and the Notes should strengthenits effectiveness. Textbooks appearance and illustrations should bescientific, nice, and contribute to students’ understanding, cultivate theiraesthetic taste. In the preparation of the concept of language curriculumstandards should be consistent with the spirit, accurate and reasonable forthe teaching objectives of the classical positioning. Junior middle school language teaching classical part of the inheritand carry forward the traditional culture played a crucial role incomparison purposes is to promote the construction Sujiao editionlanguage teaching classical material. At last this paper takes somesuggestions for the preparation of classical material of that the entirejunior middle school stage, so that the presentation of classical materialbecome more scientific, and guides the teaching of junior secondaryclassical in a rational way.
