Writing ability which people pay more attention to is an important manifestation of the overall quality of the students’ language. Composition teaching is a sensitive topic in language teaching, how to teach writing makes Chinese teachers confused, all kinds of theoretical experts and front-line teachers are trying to find the solution of the problem. In the light of composition teaching approaches, Chinese teachers tried their best to confer from many aspects that are shown as follows:writing training systematic teaching; to improve the students’interest in writing, to use the language teaching materials, writing materials, changing teaching mode of the composition classroom, and study of students’psychology. But in practical teaching composition teaching being in a dilemma of high consumption and low efficiency has been the serious problem of junior high school language education field all the time. In composition teaching predicament, the students’integral writing level in rural areas make teachers worried with serious polarization phenomenon, when they enter into the senior high school, significant overall differences appeared comparing with the students in the urban areas. The overall goal of Chinese course of the compulsory education made it clear that students receiving compulsory education ought to achieve "Expressing their own knowledge, experience and ideas with the requirements of specification, naturalness and fluency. According to the needs of daily life, the students can use the common expression to write and develop language ability in written form". But in fact, most of the students hardly reach the requirements. Teach in Inner Mongolia Wulatehouqi Secondary School. I realized the phenomenon more serious in my teaching. In view of Bayannur region, there are obvious differences between agricultural and pastoral areas in the language proficiency of students.This paper mainly study the teachers’ composition teaching condition and the students’ current composition situation in Wuhouqi No.1Middle School through a questionnaire statistics, case analysis, interviews, etc. On the basis of the teaching situation, the author try to analyze its reasons which manifests the geographical, family, teaching aspects accounting for the present circumstance. In addition, the teaching strategies of changing the composition teaching present situation in Junior high school of the rural areas are put forward directly.
