Teachers Practice And Thinking Local Music Education

Local music education plays an irreplaceable important role in contemporary music education, since contemporary social and cultural development calls for talented person that have the idea of pluralistic music culture and national identity consciousness. In this paper, analysis of the practice of local music education of higher normal colleges has been done with the case of folk music curriculum of school of music of Linyi University (mainly about training of music teachers in elementary school).The author has conducted investigations for a long time of Yimeng folk music curriculum of Linyi University, including established background, teachers, teaching content and teaching methods of the course, investigation and questionnaire for teachers and students, respectively. And analysis has been done on folk music teaching of Linyi University based on these investigations. The local music culture construction of campus environment, folk music and folk music teaching and promoting with each other, cooperating of teacher and folk artists with each other are advantages of the local music curriculum in the school. And its disadvantage is the relatively slow teaching material construction of local music course, obviously.From the practice of local music curriculum of the Linyi University, we can see that, teaching of folk music and contemporary native music are closely related and inseparable. Rich results from folk music research are needed to extend local music teaching content. From the view of perspective of curriculum implementation, establishment of system of music teaching system of local primary school, middle school and high division is an important means to realize the teaching effect and value of folk music. Short assault is not enough for folk music teaching. At the same time, sharing and cooperation of the resources of local music cultural between local cultural department and local education department is an important guarantee for the smooth implementation of local music education.
