This article will use the multivariate statistical methods to empirical analysis on the level ofpopulation sustainable development in each Corps Divisions, and based on the main problem to putforward relevant countermeasures.Throughout the process of papers empirical research is mainly based on the following steps:In the first step, based on the domestic and foreign literature to combing classification about the indexsystem of population development, and combine the connotation and the theory of population sustainabledevelopment to build Corps population sustainable development index system for compare andvaluate.”Population sustainable development system” includes two subsystems:“population developmentitself” and “external development of the population” in this index system.In the second step, by using principal component analysis method to modeling and calculate the levelof all aspects of two big subsystems like “population development itself” and “external development of thepopulation” based2000and2010year’s Corps divisions’ population sustainable development, thenmeasuring these two big subsystems coordination degree, in order to verify all aspects of each subsystemswhether achieve coordinated and sustainable, and find some prominent problems.In the third step, combine the two big subsystems like “population development itself” and “externaldevelopment of the population”, estimates the comprehensive level and the sustainable developmentcapacity of population sustainable development about each Corps divisions, and in this way to analysis theexistence differences and the relationship more systematic on the Corps Population SustainableDevelopment, to find out the main factors which affect the each corps division’s population sustainabledevelopment.At last, combine the results of analysis and the facts of the each Corps divisions to put forwardfour-point suggestions: in terms of population development, need control the quantity of population,optimize the structure of population, and improve the quality of the population; In terms of economicdevelopment, need strengthen investment, promote economic structure adjustment, and vigorouslyurbanization; in terms of social development, need improve the social security system, and improve the people’s living standard; in terms of resources and the environment, need improve the efficiency ofresource development, and protect the ecological environment best.
