Research On Evaluation Of The Graduate Education Based On Performance Excellence Mode

Graduate education evaluation is the indispensable part in China education career andeducation activities. Our country pays more attention to evaluating the graduateeducation since the quality examination and evaluation system of different degrees.From the existing evaluation, evaluation system mostly adopts the static evaluationindex with lack of systematic and values the common characters with lack ofpertinence. Besides, index set is simple and lack of systematicness and there is noreasonable method to deal with the relationship among the condition index, processindex and result index. Furthermore, very few people value at improving theeducation constantly through evaluation. This is because that studying this problemplays an important role in making up for the inadequacy of graduate educationevaluation, which contributes to the scientific value and importance of innovation ineducation evaluation.This dissertation is based on criteria for performance excellence and guided by theidea of performance excellence with seven indexes as the core content to extractessence and draw lessons from foreign experience. It mainly studies the implement ofperformance excellence model in graduate education in our country so that adistinctive graduate education evaluation index system can be built. It uses analytichierarchy process(AHP) and questionnaire survey to analyze and calculate the indexwith giving the corresponding weights. Then it uses empirical analysis to argue thescientificity and applicability of evaluation system.The purpose of this dissertation is to lead institution of higher learning in our countryas well as build the performance excellence management model and adopt thecomprehensive performance management method through the graduate educationevaluation. It plays an reference role in constantly self-improving, self-transcendence, excellence-pursuit and beyond industry through continuously self-evaluation andexternal evaluation in our graduate education. At the same time, it has a realisticsignificance in improving education level, management level and ability andachieving strategy goal in graduate education of our country.
