Self management ability is a process of self discipline and self endogenous, mainly relies on a comprehensive understanding and comprehension ability. Now for the students’ ability of self management research mainly concentrated in university and middle school students, for primary school students ability of self management research is still insufficient. Due to the elementary student age small, less knowledge, especially in the current most of the students are only children, their ability of independent life and tend to be self-centered and self management ability is weak gradually highlighted.The purpose of this paper is to from the perspective of both theory and practice to improve the elementary student’s self management ability to do some exploration, may guide the pupils to the self management ability and expand, accurate positioning, to their own at the same time further help primary school teachers a more scientific, comprehensive and accurate understanding of elementary school students self-management theory, enhance their understanding of its necessity. First in xiqing district two primary school grade three and grade four students as the object of investigation and interview, from students’ self management present situation and characteristics of the study, combined with interviews of teachers and parents, to the current status of elementary school students self-management ability and characteristics were analyzed, and then by teachers, parents, and students’ interviews, from several aspects to explore elementary students at the intermediate level of self management existence question and the reason. In view of the existing problems, and from society, schools and families is three aspects put forward the proposal, the current primary school students use for reference the cultivation of the self management ability, to provide certain reference in the future continue to explore and practice, so as to improve the scientific nature and effectiveness of implementation of the study.Full-text is divided into five parts. The first part of introduction, discusses the problems put forward, research significance and methods and current research status at home and abroad. In the second part of literature review, the relevant concepts to define, and generalizes the existing research about the topic at home and abroad. In the third part of xiqing district two primary school grade three and grade four student behavior present situation carries on the investigation and study, mainly from the social psychological knowledge management, time management and behavior management three aspects, such as the status description and analysis, and on this basis discusses the elementary student self management level of the two aspects of gender difference and age difference. In the fourth part analyzes the elementary school students lack of self management ability and consciousness weak, gender differences and external focus on society, schools, parents, and inadequate strength. Finally, put forward from several aspects to improve primary school students the ability of self management.In this paper, through the action research, draw the corresponding strategy of education in the practical reflection, targeted, available for reference in other schools at the same time.
