| Children are the hope of the society and the focus of the family. The development andeducation problems of children have caught the whole society close attention. The familyeducation has been paid more and more attention. As the first teacher and the life-long teacherfor children,parents’ quality directly affects the quality of children’s family education. Withthe development of society, the requirements of the times to the parents’ quality is gettinghigher and higher, parents pay more and more attention to the quality of their own quality.Parent Effectiveness Training has been proved to be an effective way to improve the qualityof the parents, which has the obvious effect on improving communication skills, parentingbehavior, improving democratic parenting attitudes and reducing obviously authoritativeparenting attitudes. This study will be integrated into the theory of parents’ quality to theparent effectiveness training and put forward the effect of improvement of parents’ quality onthe effectiveness of parent effectiveness training. This is a certain extent on parenteffectiveness training.In this study,16parents volunteered as the research object, and were randomly assignedinto experimental group and control group with8parents in each group. The status of parents’quality were learn by parents quality questionnaire survey, and on this basis, the courses wererearranged by combining with the content of SPET and adding parents’ quality activity unit.The experimental group had accepted the4classes, which added parents’ quality activity andthe control group had the general courses. Experimental group and controlgroup were pre-and post-measured with the "parenting attitude scale" as the researchassessment tool, which adapted and revised by Yu-ying Zheng. Finally, the results of studyhad been discussed, and suggested three approaches on the parents’ quality promotion, parenteffectiveness training, and the future prospect, and so on.The results show that:(1)Parents can realize the importance of the quality of the parents, but the overall level isnot high, needs to be improved.(2) Parent effectiveness training can improve parents’ attitude. There have the significantvariations on parents’ attitude of the experimental group and control group after accepting theparent effectiveness training. (3) The improvement of parents’ quality is helpful to enhance parent effectivenesstraining effect. The self-confidence subscale of parents’ attitude scales has the significantdifference between the experimental group accepted the parents’ quality training and thecontrol group did not accepted the training. |
