In today’s rapid development of science and technology, education in China has made greatprogress, especially the higher vocational education, under the care and support of thegovernment at all levels, and on a higher step. In recent years, the number of higher vocationalcolleges increase sharply, the quality of teaching is also gradually increase in our country, thehigher vocational education is in the growing importance in China’s higher education. However,there are still some defects in higher vocational colleges in the teaching process, such as thebackward teaching method, and the bondage of the old teaching mode, teaching process notperfect and so on, therefore, to vigorously promote the reform of teaching in higher vocationalcolleges. Today, action-oriented teaching is gradually into the various courses teaching in highervocational colleges, using the action-oriented teaching mode reform and practice, is to explorethe implementation of the effective methods to cultivate students’ innovative spirit. But, atpresent the study of action-oriented teaching is still relatively small, the action-oriented teachingapplication in teaching in higher vocational colleges is a hot research topic.This research topic based on reading related literature at home and abroad, thecomprehensive research of scholars both at home and abroad, to review of the results, to analyzethe research status of action-oriented teaching. The author from the concept of action-orientedteaching, based on the behavioral learning theory, constructivism learning theory and multipleintelligences theory, using literature analysis, questionnaire investigation and comparativeresearch methods, to study the application of action-oriented teaching in higher vocationalcolleges teaching. Finally, the author through teaching practice, select the appropriate case toanalyse, statistics and analyse to the data, summarizes the action-oriented teaching effect ofcourse teaching in higher vocational colleges, and reflect on the implementation of the action-oriented teaching.This study is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, mainly introduced theresearch background, the domestic and foreign related research status, research objectives, research methods, research contents and research of theoretical and practical significance. Thesecond part mainly expounds the overview of action-oriented teaching and related theoreticalbasis. Overview section includes the relevant concepts and characteristics of action-orientedteaching, principles, types and implementation process; Theoretical basis part includesbehavioral learning theory, constructivism learning theory and the theory of multipleintelligences. The third part mainly discusses the action oriented teaching in higher vocationalcolleges in our country curriculum teaching present situation and analyse the applicationstrategy. By analyzing a large number of literature and its related papers, to understand theapplication of action-oriented teaching in higher vocational colleges teaching present situation,find out the existing problems and influencing factors, and puts forward the strategy on theadvantage and feasibility of carrying out action-oriented teaching in higher vocational colleges.The fourth part mainly analyzes the application of action-oriented teaching method in highervocational colleges. Through the author action-oriented teaching method is adopted to improvethe practice teaching, the results are obtained. Case teaching case of the paper include theintroduction, analysis of teaching environment, teaching case implementation process and theteaching case implementation result analysis of four parts. Through the above analysis, obtainthe results. The fifth part mainly has carried on the summary and reflection of the process andresult of action-oriented teaching in higher vocational colleges. Through the above teaching caseanalysis, in view of the teaching process and the results, summarized the action-oriented teaching,and reflected the implementation process and results. The sixth part is divided into researchinsufficientand prospect. Summarized this research, and points out that the shortcomings, anddiscussed the related research in future.
