Using literature survey interviews, case studies, logical analysis and comparison method,based on the perspectives and methods of Philosophy, Higher Education, Higher EducationManagement, Comparative Higher Education, History, Culture, Sociology, Social Psychology,Politics, Economics and some other subjects, we analyzed the information and data obtained,then we drew the following conclusions:(1) There are many similarities between the schoolsystem of Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities, especially the physical educationmajor;(2) Both Fujian and Taiwan administrative departments have issued related policies tosupport the cooperation of the two colleges, and there is growing increases in the support;(3)The cooperative education between Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities in physicaleducation major is an important part of the communication and cooperation of Fujian and Taiwansports affairs, it will promote the various cooperation and communication of Fujian and Taiwan,therefore, it has a significant sense.(4) During the process of the cooperative education betweenFujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities in physical education major, there are manyinfluential elements in which the favorable ones overweighed the obstacles.Based on these, we also investigated part of the colleges which enroll students from Taiwan,and after a comprehensive analysis, we made the following suggestions:(1) The cooperativeeducation between Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities in the physical educationmajor should be advanced coordinately by sports administrative institutions, educationauthorities and colleges.(2) Both Fujian and Taiwan, especially Taiwan should further expand theplatform of the cooperative education between Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universitiesin the physical education major.(3) The practice and the theoretical study of the cooperativeeducation between Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities in the physical educationmajor should be carried on simultaneously, and it can’t be discontinued.Finally, according to the principle of cultivate talented person, we investigated the patternsof the cooperative education between Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities in thephysical education major, and we propose that:(1) In order to successfully develop thecooperative education between Fujian and Taiwan P.E. colleges and universities in the physicaleducation major, there should be a special-purposed, intermediary institution which is leaded bythe government, to carry on the specific matters.(2)The patterns should be various, but whatever patterns it follows, it should be based on mutual recognition of credits, and pushing the mutualrecognition of qualifications.
