Research On Social Work Intervening The Community Where The Factory Young Workers Live

With the development of social work in China, social work now gets developed over many fields.In recent years, many factories move to the inland and offered many jobs to the local people. This helped people to get jobs around their hometown against taking long trip to work in the developed cities. Currently, most of the workers in the factories are born after1980and1990. Although they are different from the last industry workers, they get new demands of themselves and the environment under the new circumstance. Social work hold the thesis of helping people to help themselves, on the basis of the workers’demands, to promote the communities to develop and help to find resources to help people to develop themselves, to make people’s life colorful. This paper explored how social work intervene the communities where the workers lived, accumulated effective experience.This paper explored some means and experience about how social work interfere the communities where the factory workers lived, in base of the author’s actual work experience and according to the surveys and interviews made in the community. When social work intervene the community, it not only needs to fill their hard needs, but also needs to fulfill their professional and development demands. As to their hard needs, the project offer some entertainment equipments and space. Social work began individual case, group and party activities, community classes etc. to fulfill the professional and development demands of the workers. Through the prior exploration, the project made great advocation to the community’s development, which would promote more communities to enroll social work.
