With the rapidly development of society and improvement of educationvalue degree,the voice of social required male teachers to part-icipate in thepreschool education is more and more high so that male is more popular for ashort while. But the phenomenon is cruel seriously of male teacher lacking. Insharp contrast to male teachers “leave” and battle for employers, this isformed a group of sharp contradictions with special and important role inchildren education. Based on this question considering, this paper studydepthly and meticulous applying analysis of related articles, questionnairesurvey, interview etc. methods,expecting to find countermesures of maleteachers “leave” and contributing to the development of preschool education.In this paper,the function of male teachers in the process with childrenwill be researched firstly. Male teachers with a unique physical, positivepersonality, lively thinking ways, special gender role have an active andun-replace influence for the development of children.Secondly, a survey hadbeen done about the configuration of male teachers in nursery and the loss. Itwas found that the number of male teachers in kindergartens is extremelylacking, a serious imbalance in the proportion of male and female teachersdue to the number of male in kindergarten teachers and universities lacking and the loss of male teachers worked2-3years is very serious. Throughquestionnaires, combined with a large number of interviews, the deep-seatedreasons are explored the loss of male teachers. Low wages, low socialrecognition, personal values and in adaptation to nursery environment aremain reasons. Finally, because of the loss of male teachers, we explore theapproach on improving "survival" and strategy. Not only it need strong policysupport and legal protection of government departments, also need to improvethe envionment of kindergarten humantity, need more male teachers and themass media to make the joint efforts of the whole society and to make overallarrangements. In the conclusion part, we make a rational thinking on lacks ofmale teachers. The main reason for the lack of male teachers of thekindergarten is the low salary and low status. But only kindergartens andeducational theory researcher call and attention, the strength is weakly, theintervention of the government is likely to be fundamental and decisive. In thecircumstances of can not change the male teachers treatment and positionwithin a short time, the self-quality of male teachers and the growthenvironment provided by the kindergarten becomes the key factor.
