Among the intellectual groups of talent resource in China, the group of femalepostgraduates has a great potent, but they are hindered by all kinds of reasons of subjectiveand objective in the course of applying for a job, such as the characteristics of gender andphysiology. Recently, the problem of difficult employment of female postgraduates has drawnhighly attention of universities. For the female postgraduate, the key to solve it is theimportant precondition of having a correct and objective estimate for ourselves. So, facing thedifficult reality of employment, female postgraduates have to get a well known of their basicabilities of applying for jobs, such as searching for information, career planning and difficultybearing. Only in this way can they have scientific vocational values and choose a correctcareer from reality.Making the vocational value as a entry point, basing on the theory of vocational values athome or abroad, according to CDMSE wrote by Bets and Taylor, drawing up TheQuestionnaire of Female Postgraduates’ Vocational Values in School, which is written duringthis research, using statistical software SPSS17.0, by principal component analysis, thisresearch conclude all the questions in the questionnaire as five factors, self-evaluation, careergoals, information gathering, the ability of bearing difficulties and occupational planning. Inaccordance with survey data, it analyses the differences of occupational values comparativelyin tender, grades, ages, student cadres or not, the marital status, family origin, workingexperience and education level of female postgraduates. Comparing the differences, theresearch analyses the present situation of the female postgraduates’ vocational values and thefactors which influence it. At last, the research draws the conclusion that we should developfemale postgraduates’ vocational values from four points, society, college, family andindividual.
