With the continuous economic and social progress, the society has higher requirementsfor talents, which will have higher expectation on education. Interactive electronic whiteboard,as a kind of new teaching media, has many functions such as teaching, interactiveuser-friendly, intuitive operation, multimedia resources etc.. It can not only meet the teachers’teaching characteristics of using blackboard+chalk at any time to record and change, and itcan provide the teaching features of modern, digital recording of the teaching behavior, so itcan provide the facilities for education reform. The traditional classroom education focusedon knowledge transfering, and the characteristics of students training usually shows that richin the knowledge but poor in initiative. Based on the research literature, research firstintroduces the literature review, then introduces the research ideas, and research methods tocarry out investigation and study. After the teaching practice, the author explores the inquiryteaching model based on the interactive electronic whiteboard. This model takes the teachingproblems as the clue throughout the whole teaching, and the five links is respectivelyintroducing problems, raising problems, solving problems and application integration. Thestudy introduces the elements of the teaching mode, the teaching behavior of teachers andstudents, and characteristics of the interactive electronic whiteboard. With the application ofthe teaching mode, the research use the declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge asteaching practice cases and carry out the teaching effect investigation. Survey results showthat, the inquiry teaching model based on interactive whiteboard can effectively improve thestudents’ learning initiative, upgrade students’ interest in learning, improve classroomteaching effect. At the end of the study,researcher summarized on the practice of teachingmode and carry out some corresponding conclusions.
