With the rapid development of modern information technology, the worldeducation integration has entered a new stage of development, closer cooperation ofeducation, education resources sharing are increasingly frequent. The video openclasses as a model of combining modern information technology and education, toexplore its development mode and extend its educational value, is the responsibilityand mission of the ideological and political education under the network environment.The video open classes have many characteristics, such as autonomy、technical、interactive、visual、openness and so on. To carry out study actively use the scientificdevelopment view, we can find the video open classes afore-mentioned features forcollege students’ autonomous learning ability, independent thinking ability,innovation ability, ability and information literacy provides a new channel forascension. The video open classes to promote the development of ideological andpolitical education under the network environment and the value of the mainstream ofcollege students provides a new opportunity.
