With the basic education reform which change the examination education to the quality education in full swing, teacher professional development is increasingly concerned by the education sector and the whole society, high-quality teachers is one of the essential goals of curriculum reform of basic education condition. The concept of the new curriculum put forward higher requirements to the ideological and political teacher of high school, not only require they impart knowledge to students, ask they to promote the overall development of students, which include the aspect of morality, intelligence, body, and beauty. At the same time, they must have the ability to develop and utilize the curriculum resources. The majority of the ideological and political teachers are facing many challenges while adapt to the demand of the new curriculum reform, in addition, compared with other teachers, subject nature and short entry time determines the special quality of politics teachers in high school is different from the other teachers.So, Scholars research this topic with the background of the specific social historical the reform of new courses, and has the concept of the new curriculum, the new ideological and political teachers as the research object, through the literature method to analyze the new requirements for the ideological and political teacher professional development and points out the first new requirement is professional idea which including the main goal of three-dimensional concept, take the student as the modern students view, dynamic teaching view; The second new requirement is professional knowledge which including the systemic ideological and political professional knowledge, extensive knowledge of science and culture, the necessary education science knowledge; The third new requirement is professional ability which including the ability of educational research, the ability of develop and utilize curriculum resources, cooperation ability as well as the basic teaching ability; The last one is professional affective which including the correct outlook on life and values, love student and dedication. Then, based on the interview of the new ideological and political teacher to analysing the difference between the professional development of new ideological and political teachers in high school and the requirements of the new course standard. Finally, form three aspects of traditional support strategy, independent development strategy, innovation strategy to explore new methods with strong guiding significance in reality to promote the new ideological and political teachers professional development.
