The Higher Vocational Education is important part of the popularization of Higher Education. With the quick development of Higher Education, the Higher Vocational Education has entered a special historical period. The Higher Vocational Education is facing the actual needs to improve quality after a rapid development. With the development of society, the human beings have a change on the talent view:the T-typed talent has a strong employability, is easily adapting to employment market, and shows a strong ability of practice and good liberal attainment. The T-typed talent has been widely accepted, and it is an important social factor which has influenced the adjustment of the Higher Vocational Education. Today, the employment situation remains tense, the Higher Vocational Education has short learning time, and curriculum structure is relatively limpid, therefore, whether the Higher Vocational Education has good abilities of adjustment is concerned by people. Under such conditions, we require a study on the construction of humanistic quality curriculum. As the major of art is typical, it becomes a proper object of study.Through analyzing the concept of the theory, humanistic quality curriculum has a solid base from the guide to occupation. With the theory, we also need analysis the concept of the Liberal Education:the connotation, content and mode. We also had three modes:the mode of basic ability, social ability and major ability; the mode of being based on major or academy; and the mode of liberal ability practice.With the foundation, we have analyzed the major problems and their cause. The major problems are following:the concept of the liberal curriculum was not limpid, and the structure was not perfect; the sense and practice was not strong; the curriculum was far away from the need of the occupation. Therefore, we analyzed these problems from the liberal sense, market, the unbalance of the system and the character of arts.Focusing on the problems, we suggest that the Higher Vocation Education should pay more attention to liberal education concepts; redesign the system of the liberal curriculum; reform the teaching of curriculum; construct an excellent teacher team; strength the evaluation and management of curriculum.
