In history teaching in senior high school, more and more history educators have attachedimportance to historic data teaching. The historic data teaching is a teaching mode adapted tonew curriculum reform of history and is a necessary method to update teacher’ s teachingideas, change teaching methods, satisfy requirements of new curriculum standards, cultivatestudents’ ability to solve problems, and motivate their enthusiasm in study and carry outcreative study. The historic data teaching plays an important leading role in history classroomteaching.In the paper, methods for historical data teaching in classes of history in senior highschools are discussed relatively deeply and comprehensively mainly aiming at the issue ofmethods for historic data teaching in history teaching in senior high school after newcurriculum reform, with main application of theories related to Education Science andPsychology, with reference to educational experience of countries such as UK and America inhistoric data teaching and in combination with teaching practices in historic classes. On thepremise of satisfying new ideas on history courses, the paper expounds the origins andimportance as well as the methods and meanings of historic data teaching. In combinationwith specific cases of historic data teaching and design of historic-data test questions inCollage Entrance Examination, it deeply discusses the problems which should be noticed byteachers and students in historic data teaching and provides theoretical bases and practicaloperational directions to the methods for historic data teaching in history teaching in seniorhigh school.In the paper, it persists in the principle of linking theory with practice and puts the finalconcept in historic data teaching into practice--history teaching is aimed to cultivatestudents’ ability to solve problems, with the process of teaching the students to know how toobtain historic knowledge as the key.
