The Causes And Countermeasures Of Chinese Grain Impotrs Increment

China is a populous country; Chinese government attaches great importance tothe country’s grain security, and insists the route policy of “mainly on grainself-sufficiency, import and export grain in supplement". Before the reform andopening up, the basic way to solve the grain problem of the government is the use ofdomestic resources to increase grain production. But with the accelerating pace ofreform and opening up, Chinese grain production situation and the international tradeenvironment has changed greatly. Our grain imports increased while dependence oninternational grain markets is increasing, which had a great impact on Chinese grainsecurity. Chinese grain problems will lead to a series of social problems, the Chinesegovernment must adhere to the basic domestic grain self-sufficiency, rather thanover-reliance on grain imports to meet domestic grain needs. World grain crisisoccurred in2008, many countries and regions have a “grain riots”, and some evencause political unrest. Since2012, natural disasters continue to occur in global grainproductions resulting in many countries significantly reduce grain production, grainprices on the international grain market is very unstable, dependent on grain importsfor many countries and regions, social stability caused a great impact. These eventstell us that grain security is very important for the country’s economic and socialdevelopment. Therefore, we need to further study the current situation of China’sgrain market, analyze the causes of the increase in grain imports and the impact onour economy, and explore effective solution measures to try to defuse the impact ofincreased grain imports to China.This paper intends to combine the world economy, industrial economy, the priceof learning, investment and economic theory, economic globalization background,from maintaining national grain security and long-term stable and healthydevelopment of the national economy of the height to the existing theoretical resultsfor the Research bps to learn foreign policy on agriculture, combined with the statusquo of agricultural production and economic development in our country, the causesof grain imports were analyzed; and its possible impact on China related industries toconduct a comprehensive and objective judgment; grain production of scientificdevelopment and sustainable development as a starting point to explore in depth therelevant institutional arrangements and policy proposals to defuse the impact on ourgrain imports.
