With the rapid development of the automotive industry, China’s passenger car production, social ownership and scrapped emerged rapid growth. The environmental problems in the process of discard passenger vehicles’recycling have been drawing more attention. Many countries have released laws and regulations to normalize passenger vehicles’recycling. Thus when designing products, disassemblability and recyclability are design elements as important as basic function. And thistrend has become a challenge to automobile manufacturers. It’s necessary to establish a database for recycling.Based on comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign relevant literature, which about the present situation of automotive disassembly and material data managementsystem, analysis obtained shortcomings of current recovery process and dismantling recycling information management system exists. This article based on three major factors that affect the efficiency of the recovery vehicle dismantling, namely automotive structures, materials and dismantling recovery process as a starting point. Overviewed scrapped car vehicle dismantling process, combined the information of scrapped vehicle dismantling pipeline, proposed split system of components which is based on the disassembly sequence optimization.By the combination of disassembling experiments and computer programming technology, a management system for disassembling passenger vehicles is developed. The system can systematize all the cars’information of structure, material and recycling process and help the engineers choose optimal plan. Based on the improved system, test are used to prove its feasibility.
