Since the architect Paola Soleri put forward the concept of "Ecological Architecture" in the1960s, the concept "Green building" had been gradually developed. In the90s, Green building had become the development direction of global construction. The society paid high attention to green building, which influenced the development of architectural education gradually. Traditional architectural education system involves in little content of green building, which is difficult to meet the growing social demand. Domestic and foreign universities adjust and improve the architectural education system according to the development of social demand for architecture personnel gradually. And they begin to pay close attention to the green building education in order to cultivate the comprehensive architectural talents to adapt to the social sustainable development. Because of the "green building" wide-ranging, the universities have different understandings of "Green Building" They adopted different measures and methods for green building education according to the school characteristics, the existing resources and the development demand. But overall, the current education system involved in green building relatively dispersive and one-sided. And it has not been a systematic and comprehensive system of green building.The paper based on the architectural education development background, green building education theory, the green building education in architecture colleges at home and abroad, as well as the works about green building written by the related scholars and architects. In chapter2, the author collected the course adjustment and teaching reform taken for the green building education reform in the universities at home and abroad. And then the author summarizes, analyzes and selects the appropriate approaches, which had achieved better results in the teaching. So it could provide good practice teaching methods to integrating the green building concepts into the architecture professional education. In chapter3, the current discussion of green building is introduced, including the theoretical study, practical discussion, evaluation criteria of green building. Through a comprehensive analysis of the current research and characteristics of green building, the author combines the knowledge hierarchy the green building involved, combining with the green building evaluation criteria. Combining with the requirements of the current national institutions of architecture undergraduate (five-year) education evaluation standards, the author discusses how to integrate the green building concept into architecture professional knowledge system and form a preliminary framework of architecture professional knowledge system which the Green building concept integrated into, from curriculum system, course design, technology, theory course and practice course five aspects.In chapter4, the author integrated the Shandong Jianzhu University in "Green Building Design" Education System Pilot. Refer to the preliminary framework of architecture professional knowledge system chapter3mentioned, which the Green building concept is integrated into, the author conducts the education system integration research from the course system, system optimization, system process combing three aspects, combining with the current teaching experience of "Solar energy and building integration" and Bachelor’s degree in architecture speciality, expanding "Solar energy and building integration" to "Green Building Design".
