The Research Of Current China’s Cultural Soft Power Promotion

In the current time, culture has become a more and more important source ofnational cohesion and creativity and a factor of growing significance in thecompetition in overall strength. Since the report of the Seventeenth Party Congressput forward the notion of “improving the national cultural soft power" for the firsttime, enhancing the national culture soft power has become an important nationalstrategy of our country. Therefore, further study of how to improve China’s culturalsoft power is of great theoretical and practical significance.This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction,introduces the background and significance of cultural soft power, current research,research methods and characteristics as well as key points of the research andinnovations. The second chapter is an overview of the basic theory of cultural softpower, starting from the connotation of culture and soft power, to analyze theconnotation of cultural soft power and the relationship between cultural soft powerand comprehensive national strength. The third chapter is the great significance ofimproving China’s cultural soft power; the purpose is to arouse our attention to theconstruction of cultural soft power. The fourth chapter is to enhance the dilemma ofChina’s cultural soft power. Through the detailed analysis of the construction ofChina’s cultural soft power problems, providing the basis for the next chapter ofcountermeasures. The fifth chapter is the countermeasures to improve China’s culturalsoft power, which is the ultimate goal and destination of the full text. According to thespecific problems existing in the construction of China’s cultural soft power, theauthor has put forward a number of practical countermeasures and suggestions.
