Practice Report On Simulation Consecutive Interpreting Of City Publicity Film "Amazing Zhangjiakou" According To Interpretive Theory

With the bidding to host the 24 th Olympic Winter Games in 2022, Beijing has formally been nominated to be one of the candidate cities with Zhangjiakou as co-host city. With this, Zhangjiakou which is a small town in Hebei province has gained popularity at both home and abroad and also drew the attention from the outside world, in which the people are dying to explore this city in all aspects.This thesis is an interpretation practical report with the interpreting techniques as its major concerns by choosing city publicity film "Amazing Zhangjiakou" as the material for simulation C-E consecutive interpreting with interpretive theory as the guidance. This paper has combined the background and the nature of this practice, the theoretical basis of consecutive interpretation and the relative preparation before interpreting, problems and strategies and the analysis of examples in the process of interpreting. And in this thesis, a variety of translation strategies have been introduced, including syntactic driving method, reverse method, the pros and cons of alternative methods, split combination method. The author hopes that through this thesis, she can better understand the interpretation, and perfect herself in the language style, tactics and methods of interpreting so as to provide richer theoretical support and experience for the future practice of interpretation.
