In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the Chinese grammar problems have been receiving extensive attention of scholars home and abroad. Attribute is necessary for every language, with no doubt including Chinese and English. Chinese belongs to the Sino-Tibetan, English belongs to the Indo-European, Chinese and English share both similarities and individualities.A Part of the emphases of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is attribute, precisely, multiple-attribute, which is also the difficulty for foreign students. In terms of the present study, abundant achievements have been made in the aspect of Chinese attribute, while we still have a long way to go in the research field of attribute learning for English-speaking Chinese learners from the perspective of comparison, using the theory of error analysis.As is known to all, it is practically inevitable for those English-speaking students to make different kinds of mistakes when using Chinese to communicate with others. This article will summarize the research results of Chinese attribute comprehensively, basing on the previous linguists and experts’ achievements, using the theories of comparative and error analysis. Furthermore, attribute comparison in English and Chinese will be included in the article according to the HSK dynamic composition corpus. Last but not least, we will discuss the differences of word order in multiple attribute between Chinese and English, and analyze the deep reasons why English differs from Chinese, with the sincere hope of providing some help as well as some feasible suggestions in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
