| Recently,many studies have indicated that the level of individual’s self-esteem is proportional to their mental health,and the improvement of the individual’s self-esteem has a positive effect on the individual’s mental health.The middle school stage is very important for the development of individual psychology,and secondary specialized students’ psychology has its own characteristics, need more attention. Therefore, research on secondary specialized students’ self-esteem and intervene their self-esteem is of great significance.This research can be divided into two parts,the first part of the study as the investigation,which adopts the self-esteem quantitative form to make investigation and study on 900 freshmen.the purpose is to understand the situation and characteristics of the current secondary specialized school students’ self-esteem.The other part of the study is on the basis of investigation and selected the experimental group and control group.Then taking the intervention on the experimental group,in order to explore whether group counseling can effectively improve secondary specialized students’ self-esteem.Conclusion is as follows:In the secondary specialized school, the low self-esteem students accounted for 16.3%,and high self-esteem students accounted for 13.7%The secondary specialized students’ self-esteem is significantly different in GS, SI1,SI2, SI3, SS1, SS4. Boys in SI3, SS1, SS4 was significantly higher than girls, while in the GS,T11 was significantly lower than girls, the other gender there is no significant difference.The self-esteem of secondary specialized students have differences in Tã€TI2ã€SS4. The grade three students in Tã€SS3ã€SI3 were higher than those in grade two and grade one.In the T ã€GSã€GI level, the only child and non-only child of the of secondary specialized students have no significant difference. The only child students in the TI2, TI5 was significantly higher than the only child students. The only child students were significantly higher than that of the non-only child.The cadres of the secondary specialized students in Tã€GSã€GI is significantly higher than the non-cadres. The cadres in TI1, TI2, TI3 should be significantly higher than the non-cadres.The class cadres in SS1 to be significantly higher than the non-cadres.The experimental intervention can improve the overall self-esteem and general self-esteem, especially in the interpersonal self-esteemã€the psychological self-esteem and the physiological self- esteem of social orientation. |
