Negotiation exists everywhere in our daily life. It exists in small sales of daily supplies as well as in big international transactions. However, not everyone is born a good negotiator. If someone, especially one who engages in sales negotiation, wants to make a deal smoothly or achieve success, he needs to learn and master the skills of negotiation. However, if one doesn’t make any preparation, he will meet with difficulties during the negotiation even if he has a silver tongue. Therefore, it’s essential for us to do preparatory work before going on negotiation. This report is based on the preparatory work of sales negotiation. After analyzing the text feature, the report discusses some translation techniques for this kind of text. This report consists of five parts. The first part introduces the selection of the text, the research status and the purpose of the translation of this kind of text.
