An E-c Translation Report On The Book Teaching And Researching Translation

To meet the needs of the rapid development of economy and modern society,translation teaching and translator’s training have been the essential elements of cultivating foreign language talents. It has been the important subject in teachers’ research that how translation teaching should meet the needs of modern education and how it should satisfy the needs of society and students. Therefore, the book Teaching and Researching Translation is used as my project of translating practice and this report is written based on about 150,000 words translation practice. In this report, the project background and the translation theory adopted in practice are introduced. Then the translation process and the specific cases based on E-C translation syntactic strategies are described and analyzed in detail. Finally, findings and suggestions of translation practice are concluded.
