Rural Geracomium:Endowment Life History Of An Old Man Is The Object Of Expression

Faced with an increasingly serious challenge of population aging, pension issue has become a hot-button issue, especially in the vast rural areas. Rural geracomium is the main centralized support institution for the "five guarantees family" in rural area. The research on it is particularly important. The article attempts to start from the micro perspective of an old man, to explore the rural old-age pension issues through his endowment life history in the rural geracomium.The article is based on the network platform of "100-village observation" in the Institute for China Rural Studies of Central China Normal University. This dissertation selects Laicunzhen geracomium in Jiangxi Province as a case, and follows the endowment life history of an old man called Ai Dichang as the basic clues. Through Ai Dichang’s daily life in the geracomium: disability to admission-geracomium life-geracomium work-social and situation, to show the reality situation of local rural geracomium. Combining the methods of life history research and case studies, so as little see big, to see the basic operations management, pension services of the geracomium. Combined with the current actual situation and the rural old-age policies to reflect the current rural geracomium need what kind of policy and system to support.Based on the field research, the author draws the following conclusion:On the one hand, the old man Ai Dichang is not willing to live in the geracomium based on the following three reasons:First.No economic income, living in poverty;Second.The management staff discontent, the situation is isolated;Third.Against ease of personality traits. On the other hand, Laicunzhen geracomium makes contribute to solve the pension problem of rural "five guarantees family", there are also some shortcomings:First.the system is not perfect, lack of management; Second.The lack of professional talent, low level of service; Third.The old benefit demand channel is not smooth. Finally, the article also discusses rural pension policy and relevant system. The author thinks that the actual effect of the rural pension policy depends on the policy implementation, and the related system of current China homes for the aged in rural areas should be further improved.
