Author interviewed 120 young pioneers of Gr ade 1-6 at these 2 prim ary schools and selected 72 of them to observe. In addi tion, the author interviewed and observed 12 counselors who were selected at random. Besides, young pioneers from Grade 4-6, the higher grade they are in, the weaker organizational identification they have. Young pioneers of Grade 4 and Grade 5 have stronger or ganizational identification than those of Grade 3, and young pioneers of Grade 6 have the weakest organization identification.(4) The developm ent characteristics of youn g pioneers’ organizational identification dimension include evaluati on dimension, negative em otional dimension, positive emotional dimension, mutual belief dimension and self-classification dimension. Young pioneers from Grade 1 to 6, the higher grade they are in, the lower evaluation dimension and positive em otional dimension they have. However, when it com es to negative emotional dimension, the higher grade the young pioneers are in, the higher negative emotional dimension they have. In regard to mutual belief dimension, young pioneers of Grade 3 have the strongest, and the order is Grade 3 > Grade 4> Grade 5 > Grade 6 > Grade 2 > Grade 1. About self-classification dimension, young pioneers of Grade 5 have the highest, and the order is Grade 5 > Grade 4 > Grade 3 > Grade 6 > Grade 2 > Grade 1.(5) Gender doesn’t affect young pioneers’ organizational identification significantly, but home locations and parents’ education level do have a significant influence. Besides, whether a young pioneer is a cadre of a sc hool team has a significant influence on his/her organizational identification.
