Study On Resident Participation Of Community Co-Management In Hulun Lake Nature Reserve

Community co-management of Nature Reserves is the important means to balance the relationship between nature reserve and surrounding communities, ensure the work of nature reserve management efficiency,improve the level of economic development in the region community.In order to understanding of conservation district residents to the community degree,clearly influence the residents to participate in co-management intention of the main factors, explore community co-management in the nature reserve path and feasible pattern, this study selected Hulun Lake Nature Reserve as the research area. Through questionnaire survey on reserve communities residents and Suomuda, Gachada for the special interview, the basic data and materials, and combined with the community co-management of Hulun Lake Nature Reserve of existing measures,introduces the implementation situation of community co-management of Hulun Lake Nature Reserve.The influencing factors of community residents’willingness to participate in the management of protected areas are analyzed in terms of the economic characteristics of the residents, the impact of wildlife on the production and life of the residents. Combined with the folk customs of the ethnic minorities in the north, the opportunities and challenges of the community co-management in protected areas are analyzed. And on the basis of in-depth analysis of the Hulun Lake Reserve community management problems and causes of development.It was found that the Hulun Lake protected area community condominium development level is still relatively low, mainly to be hired as obligations of maintenance staff and provide illegal clues, not involved in protected area planning, development goals to develop more in-depth content. Whether to participate in the community co-management of the main factors affecting the level of family income, the economic losses caused by wild animals, the interests of the residents through the protection zone, etc.In the analysis of the status of community co-management of Hulun Lake nature reserve, combined with actual situation of a large number of local minority populated, put forward the following suggestions:1. Enhancing the protection area management agencies for community co-management understanding of the extent and degree of attention.2.Expansion of communication between residents and the management of protected.3. Provide a variety of participation, the scope and depth increase residents to participate in community co-management; 4. The implementation of the various incentive measures to strengthen publicity and education, to further enhance the residents willingness to participate; 5. Research and implementation of national related policy, positive for residents within the protection zone for deserve the ecological compensation.
