Financial education in primary and secondary schools can enrich the students’ financialknowledge, cultivate their ability of adapting to modern economic life, help them build acorrect view of life and wealth, exercise their ability of independence, as well as promote theoverall development of their personalities. At present, the financial education of our countrywhich has not formed into an intact education system is still in the primary stage. Research onthese problems and the effective measures plays an important role on the improvement offinancial education in primary and secondary schools.This thesis mainly employs some research methods, such as comparison, research todocument and other methods. On the basis of defining it in theory and in practice, the thesismakes a systematical analysis on the main problems and causes existed in the financialeducation in primary and secondary schools.Then, under the guidance of relative theories, focused on the main problems, andlearning from the experiences of the foreign countries, the thesis gives some feasiblesuggestions on the improvement of the financial education in primary and secondary schoolsin our country.
