Tianjin Binhai New Area government was formally established on11thJanuary of2010. According to statistics, in2012, the GNP of Tianjin Binhai New Area reached720.517billion yuan, per person GDP reached nearly30thousand yuan. From thebeginning of2006, it is rapidly increasing with the growth rate of more than20%. From2009to2012,the GNP of the New Area accounted for more than50%of Tianjin. Theimplement of the Binhai New Area10Campaigns quicken the promotion of industrialstructure. Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone is the core of New Area,won the15years championship of China National Economic and Technical DevelopmentZone comprehensive development, in2010and2011, government receipts growth rateclose to or reach30%. Such a dynamic economy provides widely development space forthe vocational education of the New Area. Cultivating qualified personnel to adapt to themodern manufacture and modern high-end services is not only a bounden duty but also anew chance of the New Area vocational education.According to Tianjin Binhai New Area development strategy analysis, and how todevelop the specialty construction adapted to and closely arround the new area industrialcluster layout, to improve the quality of talents training, to materialize sustainabledevelopment, the author presented her research about Architecture EngineeringTechnology specialty construction in this paper, combined with Tianjin CoastalPolytechnic Architecture Department, which is her working place. The paper includedthree parts. In part one, the author elaborated the main status of Tianjin Binhai New Area,its comprehensive advantages, its economic conditions and the development conditions ofTianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone in2011,including the conditionsabout secondary industry and the third industry in2011. In part two, the author elaboratedthe main status of Tianjin Coastal Polytechnic and the vocational education in Binhai NewArea, and the conditions of Tianjin Coastal Polytechnic specialty construction. In the lastpart, the author elaborated the designs of Tianjin Coastal Polytechnic ArchitectureEngineering Technology specialty construction and the expectant effects of the designs.
