Discipline construction and specialty construction have always been the two core issues of university running.They respectively embody the research function and personnel training function of universities.Teaching and research university is a university which not only pays attention to scientific research but also focuses on teaching.In talent training aspect,it concerns both research ability and the practice ability.Therefore,discipline and specialty is the carrier of research and teaching,in the background of "Double Tops",how to make a construction and adjustment of discipline and specialty in teaching and research universities has been a great concern in the higher education research nowadays.This research is based on the current situation of the development of discipline and specialty,in order to promote combining discipline and specialty construction in teaching and research university,the questionnaire survey and interviews explore the problems in the integrated construction of disciplines and specialty,and from the perspective of education system,it puts forward suggestions to solve the problems in integration construction of discipline and specialty in teaching and research University.This article clarifies the theoretical basis of the integrated construction of discipline construction and specialty from two aspects:first,it defines the main concepts involved in this study,distinguishes the relations and differences between the two core concepts of discipline construction and specialty construction,and clarifies the basic meaning of the integrated construction of the discipline and the specialty.Second,it clarifies the theoretical basis of the integrated construction of discipline and specialty,the theoretical basis are including the collaborative theory,knowledge chain,stakeholder and discipline,major and industry chain theory.Taking H University as a case study,this paper analyzes the problems and its causes in the integration of discipline and specialty construction of H University,and puts forward the basic strategy of institutional innovation and policy promotion to promote the integration of discipline and specialty from the perspective of educational mechanism.The main problems in the integrated construction of H University are as follows:the dislocation of the construction target,the imbalance of resource allocation,the low degree of conversion of discipline resources to specialty advantages,the lack of research in professional teaching,and the scientific research bias of the evaluation system.From the perspective of educational mechanism,the causes of existing problems are analyzed.In view of the problems existing in the integration construction of discipline and specialty in H University,this paper puts forward the strategy principles to promote the integration of discipline specialty from four aspects:strengthening the driving force of the integration construction of discipline and specialty,establishing the guarantee mechanism of the integrated construction of discipline and specialty,perfecting the interactive mechanism of the integration construction of discipline and specialty,and promoting the evaluation mechanism of the integration construction of discipline and specialty.
