With the implementation of the new curriculum, high school history textbook hasbeen correspondingly reformed, especially making great breakthrough in the textauxiliary system. Previous text auxiliary system of high school history textbook morereflected the "Textbook" thought, however, after the curriculum reform, it morereflected the "learning" thought. This thesis mainly adopted Comparative Research,Literature Research and Textual Analysis, and made the comparative analysis on textauxiliary system of old and new high school history textbooks, combining withrelevant content on pedagogy and psychology, hoping to get respective characteristicson the design of text auxiliary system between old and new edition, their inheritageand development, and modification in the future textbook compiling.There are five sections in this article:The first part is introduction. It mainly described the research purpose andsignificance, reviewed the current related research, and confirmed the researchmethod.The second part is the general introduction of text auxiliary system setup of highschool history textbooks in both editions. The writer made the comparison from itsstatus, structure and function, and made relevant classification on its relevant concretecolumns, which set the foundation for the comparison in the third part.The third part is the comparison among several concrete columns based on textauxiliary system of high school history textbooks in both editions. The writer madedetailed comparative analysis on text auxiliary system of old and new high schoolhistory textbooks from introductory column, informative column and consolidatingcolumn, and obtained the feature of text auxiliary system in design, as well asinheritage and development between old and new edition.The fourth part is evaluation and prospects of text auxiliary system setup of highschool history textbooks in both editions. The writer made the assessment on the threetypes of text auxiliary system respectively, pointed out their advantages anddisadvantages, and put forward his own suggestion at last. The fifth part is conclusion. The writer mainly introduced his impression and theexisting disadvantage on the thesis after completion.The innovation in this thesis is the comparison for text auxiliary system setup ofhigh school history textbooks of the same edition in different periods, which isdifferent from ones of different editions in the same period. The study finds that thereare advantages and disadvantages in text auxiliary system setup of PEP old and newhigh school history textbooks, and new edition has inherited and promoted theadvantage of text auxiliary system of old school history textbooks. The writersummarized features, advantages and disadvantages of text auxiliary system setup ofPEP old and new high school history textbooks respectively by relevant comparison,and made valuable advice on future textbook compiling.
