| With the nationwide promotion of the unified history textbooks for junior and senior high schools,how to effectively carry out secondary school history teaching under the background of new curriculum standards and new textbooks is a pressing issue for every history teacher.History teaching bears the goal of cultivating and improving students’ core literacy in history subjects.The functional column design innovation of the unified textbooks,which closely follows this goal,provides important educational resources and directions for this purpose.Scholar Bai Yueqiao classified these auxiliary columns into a “Text Auxiliary System” based on the principles of systems theory,which serves as an important component of the textbook as a whole and has new research value in the new era and under new requirements.At the same time,facing the update of the unified textbooks for junior and senior high schools from the perspective of the connection between junior and senior high schools,how teachers cope with the new changes at the level of the text auxiliary system to maximize the efficiency of column utilization should be a new consideration under the old problem.Therefore,this thesis conducts a comparative analysis of the text auxiliary system from the perspectives of text compilation and teaching practice,using methods such as literature comparison and questionnaire.At the level of text compilation,the author compares the column settings,presentation forms,material selection,and other contents of the various subsystems of the text auxiliary system for junior and senior high school history textbooks.From the perspective of teachers’ teaching practice and use,the author conducted a survey of junior and senior high school teachers’ use,cognition,and attitudes towards the text auxiliary system for themselves and across grade levels.Through the analysis and research of the above two levels,the author concludes that textbook compilation cannot be perfect and based on the level of students’ psychological development and historical thinking ability,the design of the text auxiliary system for junior and senior high schools has its strengths and weaknesses.On the basis of the continuous revision and optimization of the junior and senior high school history curriculum standards,textbook compilation should also keep pace with the times,develop the advantages of each other’s systematic columns,and achieve effective connection at the level of the text auxiliary system.At the same time,junior and senior high school teachers should strengthen their theoretical study of textbooks,improve their cognition of the text auxiliary system,and enhance the systematic and scientific use of textbooks;with a full understanding of the design concepts and content requirements of textbooks across grade levels,the teachers are supposed to play the role of the text auxiliary system in cultivating students’ core quality of history. |
