Functional training in the field of rehabilitation confirmed is scientific and practical, have improvedinjury patients neuromuscular control ability, improved the stability of joints, the function of the muscularstrength, muscular endurance. Functional training in the field of competitive sports can through resistancestretching training, improves the functional strength; through core stability training, improves the ability ofneuromuscular control. In traditional physical training is attaching great importance to the neural adaptationwithin the muscle coordination, increasing muscle cross-sectional strength training, ignoring thecoordination between muscle strength training in neural adaptation, especially does not pay attention tocultivate good exercise model, this is bound to cause muscle strength development of one-sided, increasingthe potential injury.Based on the theory of functional movement screen testing, using the literature material method, testmethod, experimental method and mathematical analysis method, this paper expounds the functionaltraining and functional testing research status at home and abroad, the existing functional training means,functional testing clinical significance. Selected10men secondary volleyball players arrange functionaltraining (Functional stretching and core stability training). Test before and after training athletes muscleflexibility, joint flexibility, core stability and neuromuscular control. Results showed that: after4weeks,12times stretching and core stability training, athletes lower limb muscle flexibility, hip and hamstringflexibility and core stability and neuromuscular control appeared significant difference test indicators,individual show very significant difference, athletes can improve the basic movement patterns.Coordination and muscle strength training in traditional intramuscular cross-sectional increase developingathletes on the basis of neuromuscular coordination, special competitive ability to increase the groundworkfor athletes. Provide the reference for the coaches.
