Advocacy inquiry learning is "normal high school biology curriculumstandards (trial version)"(hereinafter referred to as "class standard") is one of thebasic concepts. The actual situation in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, Guiyang City,the main city of this paper the status of high school biology exploratory studyconducted research in order to find teachers and students during Guiyangproblems generated in the process of inquiry in order to find the correspondingproblem solutions, thus improving the quality of teaching biology.By high school biology inquiry learning in Guiyang main city usingquestionnaires, interviews, research the actual situation of mathematicalstatistical analysis, the author found some problems: Some school infrastructureGuiyang investment is not enough, resulting in experimental teaching difficult tocarry out, even if the inquiry is to carry out teaching in the classroom, there aresome students to participate in the enthusiasm is not high, there are some studentsand teachers on inquiry learning lack of awareness, it is unclear inquiry learningsteps and teaching steps. In addition, the traditional way of teaching and learningfor teachers and students with a deep-rooted cause of low student teachers inquirylearning adaptability; class teaching tension and current education evaluationmechanism also makes it difficult to carry out exploratory learning.To solve the above problem, the author puts forward correspondingsuggestions and countermeasures: Relevant departments should increaseinvestment in infrastructure, improve teaching resource allocation; schoolteachers should mobilize students to explore learning initiative to improvestudents’ understanding of inquiry learning; except beyond this, should strengthenthe training of teachers, improve teacher inquiry teaching philosophy; wholecommunity should work together to improve the education evaluationmechanisms.
