With the rapid development of information technology andthe appear of digital text, which lead reading resources toa trendency of diversified development. As the transformationof reading carrier, the traditional reading resources can notsatisfy the requirements of the high school biologyteaching.In order to keep up with the pace of the era, explorea valuable high school biology reading and teaching resourcesis significant under the background of informationtechnology.This paper conduct the study of high school biology readingand teaching resources under the background of informationtechnology. The main contents two parts, the first part useda questionnaire in Langzhong Middle School, which aims to knowabout whether the biology teachers often use the reading andteaching resources in class and the students’ interest inlearning the biology knowledge, learning method and the basicsituation of information literacy. The second part take varietyof reading and teaching resources to class for practical study.Methods Choosed senior grade two class13and18as samples byrandomizing method delaminate and all, which finding the significant improvement of students’ interest and efficiencyin learning and information literacy of biology after theteaching practice by z test.The investigation discovered thatthe biology teachers of high school are poor in organizingvarious reading and teaching resources with a fuzzyconsciousness.The students of Langzhong Middle School areinterested in studying biology by information technology. Theboys are more proactive in study than the girls.In the teaching practice teachers and students workedtogether to explore reading and teaching resources, whichimproved the students’ interest in studying biology. As aresult, it is necessary to take variety of reading andteaching resources to biology class.
