Along with the advancement of education reform and the deepening education,promote equal access to education and improve the quality of education have becomean important task of national development policy. Due to the rural education is animportant part of national education, the party and the state has been paying highattention to it.Nowadays, we are in the rapid development of information age, the ruraleducation is committed to developing the practical talents who have the informationability. Information Technology Education has become a key part of rural education.Although Information technology education in rural areas is a standard of the level ofdevelopment of rural education, it exists many shortcomings and deficiencies. Theseshortcomings and disadvantages are from the characteristics of rural area. For theseshortcomings and deficiencies, this article will treat rural middle schools in Jilin as thesubjects of study. The study will use the questionnaire, literature and interviewingmethod to collect data, in order to understand the current situation in rural middleschools education in Jilin Province, and explore the constraints of rural developmentin information technology education in Jilin. The survey aims at provide someguidance and references on the development of China’s rural information technology.At the same time, the article expects to improve the quality of education and providethe basis for a balanced development of education.
