The new curriculum reform of Senior High School Chinese has been more than ten years.The Chinese teaching textbooks have the rich and colorful changes. This paper aims tocomparative study on three versions of selected texts of PEP compulsory Chinese teachingtextbooks since twenty-first Century,include2000edition of the "full-time regular highschool textbook (test revision) Chinese",2003edition of the "full-time regular high schooltextbooks (compulsory) Chinese" and2007edition of the "ordinary high school curriculumstandard textbook (compulsory) Chinese".A brief analysis of three editions changes such asthe table of contents of statistics, this genre, the author, span of time and space, and throughthe discussion of the tendency and the main reason of the change of the selected texts, in orderto understand the maturing development process of the people education textbooks,to explorethe compilation principles which selection of the current textbooks should follow,and try tomake recommendations for future selected texts of Chinese teaching textbooks.
