Fine Arts teaching plays a significant role in the compulsory education that isvigorously promoted today. It benefits students not only by affecting other subjectsbut also refining their manners and qualities. In the present day, Fine Arts teaching inrural middle schools is generally disordered, and it is not uncommon to find thatstudents violate the class discipline because of the lack of attention to Fine Arts. Inorder to improve Fine Arts teaching in rural schools and to promote students’learning capacity on it, the thesis will try to define the major elements that constituteFine Arts learning capacity on the basis of previous related studies, and the authorconducts questionnaires and interviews on Fine Arts learning to study the ruralmiddle school students in terms of their attitude, motivation, approaches, etc. Thethesis analyzes the positive and negative factors that influence rural middle schoolstudents’ Fine Arts learning capacity from both objective and subjective aspects.Some corresponding measures and suggestions are put forward considering the actualsituation in country, the advantages of rural middle school students and thesignificance of promoting Fine Arts teaching capacity.
