Abstract/Summary:
As a natural science subject based on the experiment, physics is a veryimportant subject in the college entrance examination. Therefore, theexperimental teaching is one of the most important steps in the physicsteaching process. As to the experiment in the high school physics teaching, what is the current status of the high school physics experimental teachingand what are the existing problems? Which experimental teaching activitiesare difficult to cultivate students effectively? How to improve the quality ofthe experimental teaching? In order to study these problems, this paper conducts an investigation onthe current status of the high school physics experimental teaching andlaboratory resources in Banner Counties north of Chifeng city. The BannerCounty consists of Ar Horqin Banner, Bairin Left Banner, Bairin Left Banner,Linxi County, Hexigten Banner. Since the government increased theinvestment in the western region, the economic development of Chifeng Cityis very fast, and Banner Counties has greater changes. Therefore, the papermainly investigates part of the high schools in Banner Counties north ofChifeng city, and has a detailed investigation on the current status of thephysics experimental teaching, in order to find out the imperfection in theprocess of the high school physics experimental teaching. In view of thewhole Banner Counties north of Chifeng city, these problems are universal. This paper adopts the method of combining questionnaire survey andinterview to investigate the current status of the high school physicsexperimental teaching and learning. The statistical analysis of the findingsshows that the current physical experimental teaching has the followingproblems: First, the laboratory resources are insufficient and the teachers lackexperimental attainment. Second, the teachers’ education concepts fall behind and the ways of students’ experimental examination is unreasonable. Third, the demonstrative experiments are less conducted, the development ofphysical experimental resources is insufficient, the students’ groupingexperiments become a mere formality, and the teachers attach greatimportance to the experimental process, but pay less attention to the feedbackof experimental results. To solve the above problems, this paper gives the following proposals:First, the teaching concepts should be changed. Second, the experimentalteaching evaluation should be strengthened and the experimental examinationshould be specified. Many teachers only pay attention to the examinationresults. Third, the teachers should improve their own attainment. Fourth, theexperimental investment should be increased, the high school physicsexperimental facilities should be improved, and the laboratories should beopen to enhance its utilization. Finally, the teaching modes should bediversified. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introductionwhich determines the research purpose, the research significance, the researchstatus, the research methods, and the status and role of high school physicsexperiments in physics teaching. The second part expounds some knowledgeof the physical learning theory and interprets the high school physicscurriculum of physics experiment requirement. The third part mainlyinvestigates and analyses the actual situation of physics experimental teachingin some high schools, and provides some references for developing scientificand reasonable physical experimental teaching plans. The fourth part finds outthe imperfection of the high school physics experiment teaching according tothe results of the investigation and the analysis. The fifth part givescorresponding proposals.
