Countermeasures For Double-Qualified Teaching Staff Construction Of Vocational College

Teacher is the foundation of a school. A teacher’s academic level and his/herquality is one of the most important references for the school’s talent training level. InChina, Tianjin is the first national vocational education reform pilot area andinnovation demonstration zone. The construction of teaching staff in Tianjinvocational schools will provide significant references not only for Tianjin vocationaleducation ahead, but also for the whole national one.This thesis firstly combs relative theories of both vocational education anddouble-qualified teachers and explores the advanced theories and experiences ofdeveloped countries, such as Germany, USA, Japan and South Korea. At the sametime, compared with Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, one of the advanced cities, somevaluable references are made. Secondly, on the basis of questionnaires and seminars,the current statuses of double-qualified teachers are analyzed and relative policyrecommendations are proposed.According to the problems existing in the double-qualified teaching staffconstruction in Tianjin Vocational Colleges, the thesis puts forward some suggestionsabout how to strengthen the double-qualified teaching staff construction from threeaspects: the government’s level——to improve the processes of the relevantpolicies; the schools’ level——to ameliorate the management and evaluation systemfor “double-qualified” teachers; the teachers’ level——to increase the quantity ofthe teachers, and improve the educational structure, the professional structure and thepersonal accomplishment. With studying some aspects, such as, policy guidance,capital investment, standards development, training methods and mechanisms, thisresearch attempts to put forward a significance of revelation for Tianjin vocationaleducation which plays a leading role in innovation.
