The teacher’s training is an important mean to improve the quality of teachers as well as to promote the professional development of teachers. It is also related to the educational quality of teaching. Especially in the context of the new curriculum reform, the teacher training is emphasized to a new degree, so the teacher training is particularly important. Among the current teacher trainings we have done, the main contents of which refer to: the education theory seminars of the teaching materials, lectures of the experts on the new curriculum reform, the new excellent classroom teaching observation, the new curriculum demonstration class, the classroom teaching of famous teachers and so on. However, the actual effect may be unsatisfactory if we explore the teacher trainings from a deep perspective. Therefore, we need to explore the new models of the teacher training suitable for the new curriculum reform as well as to make the teacher trainings more rational, systematic, standardized and scientific, so as to promote the pace of the new curriculum reform and achieve the goal of new curriculum reform through promoting the professional development of teachers. As a result, the healthy growth of students is achieved.In this study, I take Chengdu City Chenghua District teacher training of primary and secondary schools as the research object, and through a questionnaire survey and interviews I understand the status quo of teachers training in primary and secondary schools, and from the training attitude, content, type, mode, effect, evaluation and other aspects, I make some investigation and analysis. We have made certain achievements in the practice of the teacher training of primary and secondary schools in Chenghua District of Chengdu, but some problems remain to exist, such as: the pertinence and practicability of the content is lacking; the training mode is single; the theory training is more than practice; the enthusiasm of the teachers in the training is not great; the evaluation mechanism is not perfect etc. According to the existing problems of the primary and secondary school teacher training under the background of the new curriculum reform, this paper analyzes the problems: 1)the Geologic fault of teachers, the new teachers in higher proportion, not enough hierarchical training; 2)ignoring the actual needs of teachers in the teacher training, thus causing the lack of the pertinence and utility of the training contents, and the poverty of the integration and continuity of the curriculum knowledge; 3)The teacher training mode is single, and not a full range of teachers is involved in the training service; 4)modern information technology has not been fully reflected; 5)school-based training of the evaluation system is not perfect. Based on analysis of the reasons we put forward the innovative training methods as follows: 1) deep mining the important role of modern information technology in the process of the teacher training and giving full play to the role of school-based training; 2)updating and improving the training contents: the general training as the main theme, with the subject training as the key point, with the practical problems to be solved for the purpose; 3)establishing a scientific evaluation system of the teacher training: making the process evaluation and summative evaluation combined, with single evaluation and systematic assessment combined.
