During the teaching experience, the author find there are many disadvantages in passive teaching, for example, the students are not so interested in study,and they don’t have enough memory, use and transfer ability. Besides, it limits the students’ overall development. The new curriculum idea of biology is to improve the biological quality, to face all students, to promote inquiry learning, focus on the contact between it and real life." Thus, peer mutual teaching is the way which implementation above idea,and an effective teaching method to improve efficiency of biological teaching.After practice research, aiming at how to carry out peer mutual teaching of biology in senior high school, first of all, this article summarizes the background of research, clears the significant of the research, confirming the contents and methods of research. Secondly, it confirms related core concept and summarizes research progress of peer mutual teaching at home and abroad. Thirdly, using theory, it confirms the principle of peer mutual teaching to develop the teaching strategy, learning strategy and evaluation strategy of students’ learning efficiency. With these strategies, the author adopts peer mutual teaching in senior two biology teaching, and list practical examples of it. Last, after researching and carrying out the peer mutual teaching, the author believes it can build up ecosystem of high school biology class.In teaching practice and learning effect analysis, it’s effective to use peer mutual teaching in biology teaching. The concrete manifestation is that it can transform the underachiever, optimize the medium lives and improve students’ scores in all kinds of knowledge to increase average score of the class, arouse interest of learning biology, strengthen abilities of operation, cooperation and communication, enhance self-identity and optimize interpersonal relationship. In general, through peer mutual teaching, peer mutual teaching can advance students’ all-round development in cognition, emotion, will and behavior.
