With the development of preschool education in Tibet and the attaching importance of people to the quality of preschool education, preschool education in Tibet will need urgently a large number of high-quality preschool teachers. The Tibet universities, which undertake mission of training high level teachers for preschool education in Tibet, must strengthen professional construction level and improve the quality of personnel training. Curriculum construction is an important content of the specialty construction, and curriculum reform is the core and the breakthrough of major reform. So optimizing the structure of curriculum and adjusting content of curriculum is an important way to improving the level of construction of preschool education especially for The Tibet universities.Based on the analysis of the theory basis and the reality requirements about curriculum of preschool education major in Tibet universities, this thesis chose Tibet University for Nationalities’ curriculum in preschool education major as a typical example to discuss problems in the major in Tibet universities, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions about the curriculum.The thesis divides into four quarters.Section one is introduction,which includes research background of this paper,the definition of related concepts, research review, research methods and research significance.Section two is the theoretical basis and the reality requirements about curriculum of preschool education major in Tibet universities. Curriculum in Tibet universities must be based on philosophical, social and psychological, and must also conform to teacher professional development and development of preschool education in Tibet.Section three is about the situation and problems of curriculum in preschool education major in Tibet universities. Based on the analysis of Teaching program of preschool education major in Tibet University for Nationalities and questionnaire investigation with interview, the thesis argue that the problems about the curriculum include that general education curriculum is single, the public elective courses are lack of local special, the art courses account for a disproportionate share of this curriculum, theory and teaching courses have lower proportion in this curriculum,and practical course don’t pay attention, etc.Section four is countermeasures and suggestions of improving curriculum of preschool education major in Tibet University. Tibet University must establish the ideal of “ Taking students as the foundation ”,adhere to the professional development for students and inherit of minority traditional culture, pay attention to training students’ ability in of teach and scientific research. The thesis agrees that Tibet University must be a balanced development of all kinds of curriculum,highlight ethnic characteristics on curriculum content, strengthen management and implementation of the curriculum, and promote teachers to change teaching methods.
