Secondary occupation education is an important part of Chinese education framework. Because of the secondary vocational school without selection and elimination, most of the vocational school students not only have such a low elementary educational level, also have the low enthusiasm. The traditional teacher centered teaching method has been unable to meet the needs of the social development. The coming of the information age, brings higher requirements for teachers.Because of its simple operation, resource sharing, real-time transmission, automatic updates and other advantages, as a new network communication tool, Blog can make teachers and students without time limit have a real-time communication, interactive timely. With the rapid development, Blog is widely used in various fields of education and teaching.This article mainly studied the application of Blog in basic computer teaching. The study is aimed at expanding access to information of students, realizing the management process of students, strengthening exchange between the teachers and students, enhancing the learning interest and the learning effect of students. The purpose is to explore the application strategies of Blog in basic computer teaching, to explore the potential application of Blog in teaching, and to make it become an important auxiliary teaching tool.On the basis of a lot of theses, the author of this thesis defined the relevant concepts, comprehended the application research status of Blog in teaching at home and abroad, analyzed the purpose and significance of using Blog to assist the basic computer teaching, established the theoretical basis and the research methods. At the same time, the author study the current status of basic computer teaching in secondary vocational school, analyzed the problems in the process of teaching and learning, constructed the information teaching mode based on Blog, and designed the appropriate teaching strategies. In order to study the application of Blog in basic computer teaching, some students in secondary vocational school in Ruyang County of Luoyang city are as teaching experimental subjects to carry out the teaching contrast experiment. Through the comparative analysis of the students achievements in the experimental class and the control class, the author studied the effect of Blog in basic computer teaching. Aided by the way of the questionnaire survey, the author discussed the influence on students after introducing Blog to the basic computer teaching, and also pondered the application of Blog in the basic computer teaching.Research shows that, the application of Blog in basic computer teaching is feasible. It has inspired the enthusiasm of students, improved the level of information accomplishment of students, enhanced the feelings between teachers and students, strengthened the ability of autonomous learning and collaborative learning of students, realized the management process to students, and enhanced the learning effect. The shortage is that the students have not cultivated good study habits, and the teaching experiment was used in a small range and so on. All these are to be continued to explore and practice from now on.
