The status of lu xun’s works in middle school Chinese teaching, in the early established shortly after the "May 4th" movement and his position is the envy of other writers. After the founding of new China, lu xun’s works in the middle school language teaching material of extracts from experienced a transformation, change to the stability of a process. As the change of historical period, lu xun’s works teaching value orientation is changing. Since the 21 st century, lu xun’s works has always had historical shackles, at the literary level, makes some people start out lu xun; In the teaching level, lu xun’s works selected and law has been controversial. This paper, first of all, the 21 st century are reviewed before middle school Chinese teaching of lu xun works, organize the different historical period for the teaching material of lu xun’s essays, summarizes the teaching orientation of each historical period, found that lu xun works gradually from political discourse teaching. Secondly, people of Chinese textbooks for middle school as the research object, analyze the present situation of teaching material layout and the use of the textbooks of teachers and students in investigation and study, describe the current situation of teachers’ teaching and students to accept the status quo, found the cause of lu xun’s works reading teaching the dilemma and the cause of the students don’t like lu xun’s works. Third, try to explain the text meaning and change the relationship between the reader and the author, this paper puts forward to build a correct concept of reading lu xun’s works, in the hope to solve the literary level, why would people out lu xun this problem, at the same time also hope that through analysis of the text, to Chinese teaching to new teaching content. Finally, finally, in accordance with the new curriculum concept and curriculum standards, from "teaching" and "how to teach" two aspects, and puts forward four Suggestions: one, to distinguish the type selection of teaching material, Second, the teaching methods of change. Third, the pursuit of the integration of multiple perspectives; Four, academia and education communication, expect to lu xun work reading teaching can present a better situation.
