Massive Open Online Courses(Abbreviation as mooc)provides quality free educational resources and complete course study experience for learners to all over the world with technology and Internet.The emergence and development of mooc brings both opportunities and challenges to traditional education,which has caused attention around the world.Mooc develops so fast that problem of high register rate but low course finish rate occurs,for its learners come from different areas thus backgrounding differently.Faced with large and complex groups,the design of platform interface,organization of courses’ structures,arrangements of curriculum’s contents,developing study assessments,design of study exchange,and development of platform skills supporting of mooc all are more or less influencing learners’ study,and in some degree deciding continuity of online study.Based on learners’ experience and demands as well as problems raised during mooc’s development,this essay puts forward suggestions related with accelerating mooc’s sustainable development by analyzing documentaries and survey study to provide reference to optimize users’ experience and meet learners’ needs.This essay is come up of seven chapters.The first chapter is introduction,it introduces the study background and effects of the theme.By combing study currency in China and overseas,we determine study plans,clarify contents,methods,innovations and clues of the study.In the second chapter,basic theories of the study are introduced to offer theoretic reference for later studies the same time defined related concepts.In the third part,we clarify development and present situation of mooc to understand mooc and its progress further by combing mooc’s development and currency situation in China and overseas to make bed for study.The fourth chapter talks about design of investigating approaches by introduce investigate goals and thoughts and clarifying paper design and data handling.The fifth chapter is the essay’s highlight,we investigate learners experience and demands with paper-star platform.The papers are designed in six dimensions including mooc’s platform interface design,course structure and contents,study assessment,study exchange and skill support,and conduct counting analysis towards collected effective data.In the sixth part,having refered to documents and analyzed users’ experience and demands in China,we propose suggestions to advance mooc’s sustainable development in those six dimensions mentioned above.Final part concludes the study and point out the shortage of the essay and its future orientation.
