MOOC(English acronym for Large-scale Online Open Course)is a course that can be learned through the Internet.For some learners,there is no charge for the course of study.Anyone who logs on to the website can register for the course.MOOC can be traced back to the 2001 MIT Open Course Ware Campaign,which has swept the world for a decade and has far-reaching implications.However,there are some problems in the development of MOOC,and high dropout rate is one of them.From the perspective of learners,research on the reasons for experiencing the analysis of dropouts has increased in recent years.The MOOC learning experience refers to the subjective feelings of learners learning on the MOOC platform,and has a strong correlation with the MOOC completion rate.Guided by experiential learning theory,this paper uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to compile questionnaires and interview outlines based on the classical learning experience.It is a learning experience theme for Coursera and Chinese university MOOC platform learners.Online questionnaire survey and interview survey,comparative analysis of the learning experience of Coursera and Chinese university MOOC.The statistics of the online survey show that:(1)Most of the MOOC platform system is stable and stable,the platform instructions are easy to operate,and the MOOC information update of Chinese universities is timely;(2)MOOC platform registration has certain information security risks,and the Chinese university MOOC registration involves more Personal information,relatively large risk of information disclosure;(3)MOOC learning can promote personalized development,Chinese university MOOC enables learners to feel more personalized services,high control ability;(4)MOOC curriculum resources,courses The explanation is clear,the course content is in line with the logic of the subject,and the learner's recognition of the scientific,rationality and practice feedback of the Chinese university MOOC course is slightly higher than Coursera;(5)human-machine and interpersonal interaction,the learner's MOOC of Chinese university The comprehensive evaluation is higher than Coursera;(6)The discussion area is not hot enough,and the learners themselves fail to follow up the progress of the course in time and ignore the teacher evaluation,which will lead to the abandonment of MOOC learning.Finally,from the three aspects of adjusting platform strategy,improving course quality and enhancing interaction and collaboration,we put forward specific suggestions to optimize the experience of MOOC learners,control the phenomenon of MOOC dropout from the source,and promote the further development of MOOC.
